Marina has been hired for a one-year appointment as an Adjunct Lecturer at Northwestern University.
This winter quarter (Jan-March 2017), she has helped redesign and is co-teaching a science communication course that is part of the Master of Biotechnology curriculum, MBiotech 420: Critical Thinking and Communication.
With Marina’s input and instruction, the course now includes an overview of written, visual, and oral communication with insight from beyond the lab bench. Storytelling, narrative, marketing, messaging, and theatre techniques are new additions to the course.
